George Walker ’68, Electrical Engineering. A business coach at Vistage in Rolling Hills Estates. After a long career with Unocal, George is building a coaching practice focused on small business owners. His clients learn how to take their businesses to the next level of revenue and profitability while working fewer hours with less stress.

David Martin '71, Electrical Engineering. David works for Otak, Inc. in Kirkland, WA as a senior project manager. Martin has completed his 30th year of transportation engineering in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on a wide variety of projects from rural trails to urban interstate highways.

Leigh Noda ’72 Chemical Engineering. Leigh is self-employed as a consultant in energy products and production, Manhattan Beach. Left ARCO/BP in April 2000. Started freelance consulting in 2001 and never looked back. Been involved in a number of interesting new technologies and a project in Trinidad as well.

Jim Olson '72, Electrical Engineering. Jim is the owner and CEO of WestShore Management group in Half Moon Bay, CA. His consulting practice is mainly focused on helping start-ups with strategy and funding.(See photo)

John Maroney '75, Mechanical Engineering. John works in venture capital for Delphi Ventures in Menlo Park, CA.

Tom Kemp ’80, Chemical Engineering. Tom works in process engineering designing oil refineries and chemical plants for Commonwealth Engineering in Houston, Texas.

Carlos Jose Azanza ’81 MS Food Engineering. Retired from Kraft Foods, Inc. I just finished a Lean Six Sigma Course from Villanova University, PA. Next step is to get certified. Trying to open my consulting in manufacturing, strategy, Lean Six Sigma and supply chain optimization for small and medium CPG companies.

Paul Korn '82, Mechanical Engineering. Paul works for BAAE Systems in Rancho Bernardo, CA as a senior technical recruiter. His recruiting specialties since 1994 have been IT infrastructure, software and systems engineering.

Richard Ogawa '84, Chemical Engineering. Richard recently took an early retirement from his partnership duties at Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP in Palo Alto, CA to become the Chief Intellectual Property Counsel with Khosla Venture Companies.

Nancy Morse '85, Mechanical Engineering. Nancy is a 21-year veteran of commercial real estate. She has consistently been a top producer for Grubb & Ellis, and in 2006 the San Jose Business Journal recognized her as one of the top three brokers in the Silicon Valley. The Association of Silicon Valley Brokers has nominated her twice as Office Broker of the Year. In 2009 she became the first woman president of the Northern California Chapter of SIOR, whose membership is less than 2% women. Morse chaired the CREW Connection Project that resulted in the donation of more than $140,000 in services and materials to relocate Career Closet’s San Jose facility. In the past 12 months, Morse completed 38 transactions for tenants such as National University, Allen Systems Group and Iron Construction, to name just a few. Foremost among her goals, she says, is “to provide the best professional commercial real estate service to my clients to meet both their short-term and long-term goals, and to help young women succeed in brokerage.”

Phillip McInroe BS ’86/ MS ’90, Mechanical Engineering. Phillip transitioned into the medical device industry in 2006 after 15 years in the auto industry working for Ford. He is currently managing the lean transformation and Six Sigma programs at the Synthes Colorado manufacturing and distribution center in Monument, Colorado.

Brian Gleason '87, Aeronautical Engineering. Brian works for Southwest Airlines Co. as the director of Flight Ops Engineering in Dallas, TX.

Michael Mohr '87, Electrical Engineering. Michael works in Walnut Creek, CA as an engineer for Fresenius Medical Care.

William Bell '91, Civil Engineering. William is Vice President of Software Engineering at Grid Net in San Francisco, CA.

Ilya Vinogradsky ’95, Computer Science & Engineering. Ilya is CTO at SysIQ, Inc. San Francisco. Co-founded a small e-commerce services company in 2000. "Have been slowly growing it through ups and downs of the economy."

Alan Kemmer '95, Computer Science and Engineering. Alan works for N.E.T. as a software engineering manager in Fremont, CA.

Garrett Thomas Oakes ’95, Chemical Engineering. Garrett is a sales engineer for EV Group in Tempe, Arizona.

Amy Little '96, Mechanical Engineering. Amy has been working as an associate sanitary engineer for the California Department of Health Drinking Water Program in Santa Rosa, CA for the past four years. In 2008, she welcomed a son, Lucas.

Josh Peterman '96, Civil Engineering. Josh works as a transportation engineer and consultant for Fehr & Peers in Walnut Creek, CA. In 2006, he welcomed a daughter, Kathryn. Expecting baby girl no. 2 in September '09.(See photo)

John M. Winn '96, Civil Engineering. John works for Manhard Consulting, Ltd., Vernon HIlls, IL, as a civil engineer.

Eric Stimmann '96, Biological and Agricultural Engineering. Eric is an electrical engineer at Varian Medical Systems in Palo Alto, living in San Francisco.

Robert Lee '97, Mechanical Engineering. Robert works for Synaptics as a mechanical design engineer, designing touch-sensing technologies for mobile phones, notebooks, PCs, and media players in Santa Clara, CA.

Todd B. Martin '97, Civil Engineering. Todd is the vice president of technology development at the Associated Press in San Francisco, CA.

Frank Mong '97, Electrical and Computer Engineering. Frank works as the vice president of marketing for Trend Micro in Cupertino, CA. Mong and his wife, Sandra, have a son, Dylan, and were expecting their second child in November, 2008.

Robb L. Robertson '97, Civil Engineering. Robb is President/CEO of RLRPE, Inc., Carmichal, Ca. "After working as a structural project engineer for several Sacramento firms, I started my own company, RLRPE, Inc., in March 2008. My wife and I have lived in Antelope for 17 years; we have 2 sons and a new baby girl, born in December, 2008."

Miguel Moreno '98, Electrical Engineering. Miguel is an engineer with Intel. Engineering, especially UC Davis Engineering, prepares you to learn, think, do things you have always wanted to do. After traveling to Texas (Motorola), Phoenix, Europe and San Jose, I am now living in Folsom, CA.

Eric Egan '99, Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering. Eric works as a senior sales engineer for Sonus Networks in San Rafael, CA.

Vince C. Nguyen '99, Electrical Engineering. Vince works for Agilent Technologies as a senior applications manager in Anaheim, CA.

Ryan Fong '00, Computer Science and Engineering. Ryan works as a senior software engineer for Trapeze Networks (part of Belden Co).

Eliah Jareth Hamlin ’00, Chemical Engineering. Elijah is plant manager for Amy’s Kitchen in Santa Rosa.

Jackson Hull '00, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. Jackson is a chief technology officer at Sitoa Corporation in San Mateo, CA.

Jeremy W. Webb '00, Electrical Engineering. Jeremy is a senior digital hardware engineer for Centellax, Inc. in Santa Rosa, CA.

Wei Lin '01, Electrical Engineering, is living in Stockton, CA.

Keith Bauer '01/02,, Civil/Structural Engineering. Keith is a structural engineer at Buehler and Buehler Structural Engineers, Inc. in Sacramento.

Aldrich R. Bautista '02, Civil Engineering. Aldrich has recently taken a position as associate civil engineer for the City of Vallejo, CA. He will be working on capital improvements in the engineering division of the public works department.

Jason Gallagher '03, Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering. Jason works for Northrop Grumman: Space Technology as a spacecraft design engineer on the James Webb Space Telescope. His primary tasks involve the design of deployable mechanisms for the sunshield subsystem. (See photo)

Andrew Lewis Mittleman '03, Civil Engineering. Andrew works in Sacramento as a project manager for Jacobs Engineering.

Jason S. Smith '03, Mechanical Engineering. Jason works as a mechanical engineer at Lockheed Martin's Sunnyvale, CA offices.

Payam Soleymani '03, Computer Science and Engineering, lives in San Francisco, CA.

Christine Ann Bui '06, Biological Systems Engineering. Christine is a development associate for Geron in Menlo Park, CA.

Jonathan Fought '06, Mechanical Engineering. Jonathon works for Pira International as a project engineer in Sunnyvale, CA.

Jonathan Mann '06, Mechanical Engineering. Jonathon works in Fremont, CA as a quality engineer for New United Motor.

Deborah Schenberger ’06 Ph.D. Biological Systems Engineering. Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering at the University of Portland. I have completed one year as a faculty member at the University of Portland, and I find it very rewarding. I'm setting up a biomechanics course with a lab that I will teach next year, and I'm still collaborating with Dr. Munish Gupta at UC Davis Medical Center on my spinal fusion research.

Nelson Huang '07, Electrical Engineering, works as a systems engineer for Brocade in San Jose, CA.

Nikko Lubinski '07, Mechanical Engineering, works for SurfaceInk Corporation in San Jose, CA as a product design engineer.

Kevin Mueller '07, Mechanical Engineering. Kevin is a design engineer at Goodrich - Universal Propulsion Company in Fairfield, CA. They design and build pyrotechnic ejection systems for military and civilian aircraft, as well as numerous energetic devices for manned and unmanned space flight, various missile programs and other military applications.

Eric Work '07, Electrical and Computer Engineering, works for Soft Machines Inc. as a software engineer in Santa Clara, CA.

Shikha Chetal, '08 Civil Engineering. Shikha accepted a job as a project engineer with the Santa Monica office of Larry Walker Associates, an environmental engineering and consulting firm with offices throughout California. The firm provides innovative water quality solutions to a variety of clients throughout the state.

Harpreet Dhanda '08, Mechanical Engineering, works as a structural engineer for Boeing in Everett, WA.

Alexander Ma '08, Civil Engineering, works in Napa, CA as an assistant engineer for Riechers Spence and Associates.

Jack Ryan Naylor '08, Civil Engineering. After a 5-week break traveling around the West Coast, Jack will begin work as a water resources engineer at Mean & Hunt, Inc. in Sacramento.

Vinay Reddy '08, Civil Engineering, lives in Castro Valley, CA, and works for Granite Construction Company, Inc. as a field engineer.

Jennifer Walley '08, Chemical Engineering & Materials Science, spent six months working at NASA-Marshall Space Flight Center on development for the Ares-I Program. She is currently in a Ph.D. program at Ohio State University. (See photo)

Kevin Ka Kei Leung '09, is a product engineer at OmniVision Technologies Inc.
